Drive sync is optional and uses the same Google account on the devices you connect. If access expires, reconnect the same account. Your local records remain available while sync is unavailable.
Use the JSON export to keep an independent copy. The file is readable and may include private financial details, so save it somewhere you trust. Restore only a backup you intended to use.
Disconnecting Google access does not remove copies already on your devices or in exported files. Device deletion, Google Drive data and backups are separate copies; removing one does not erase the others.
