Privacy, in plain language.
Your finances belong to you. Here is where Omone keeps them and what optional sync means.

Your financial records
Expenses, categories, budgets, recurring schedules and related history are stored in a local database on your device. Omone does not operate a financial-data server or a staff console for browsing your records. The app is designed to keep working offline.
Optional Google Drive sync
If you connect Google Drive, Omone syncs a copy in the appDataFolder of the Google account you authorize. This is optional and uses the same Google account on the devices you connect. Google manages storage encryption. Omone does not provide an app-managed end-to-end encryption promise. The app and authorized device can read the data to display and process it.
Backups and copies
You can create an omone.v1 JSON backup. It is readable and is not password-encrypted; it may contain personal financial details. Store it somewhere private. A backup is independent of Drive sync. Deleting a device or remote copy cannot erase exports or copies on devices that are offline.
Google authorization
Google Sign-In authorizes the optional Drive feature. Authorization credentials are held by the platform and used for Drive requests; they are not included in financial exports. Disconnecting or revoking access does not delete data already copied to a device or backup.
Preferences and the website
Language, appearance and amount visibility are kept in device-local app preferences. This website does not ask for financial records or create an Omone account. Website hosting may process technical information needed to deliver a page.
Your choices
You can use Omone without connecting Google. Keep an independent backup for recovery. Review the support topics for guidance about offline use, Drive sync, backups and removing copies.
